Miss Julia is offering group photos digitally, please refrain from sharing Group images to other classmate’s families who have not purchased images. Images may be shared to family and friends but please respect Miss Julia’s time and efforts and purchase group photos properly.

Please refrain from posting group images publicly on social media for the privacy of our students

Photos will be sent to the email provided through a WeTransfer link. Some email ad-blockers will prevent sharable links or mark them as spam. If you have not recieved your photo email by the designated date, please email me at juliaeckhardtphotography@gmail.com. The dates photos will be sent out will be announced the week after dress rehearsal.

Your Dancer’s Teacher and Miss Julia will be in charge of posing your dancer for photos. Poses are typically chosen based on the routine they perform in recital.

Dancer’s will have 3-4 attempts to pose and smile for a photo. Due to time restraint we are may not be able to accommodate for multiple posing options or dancers who are unhappy or upset after several photo attempts.

We will be enforcing a strict No Parents in the photo studio rule this year. Their teachers will ensure that everything goes accordingly.

Dancers who do not submit a photo order form will Not take individual photos.

Packages are per family, you cannot split package bundles between other families. For friend photos only, please designate which family account the charges will go under.

“Why are photos digital now? I miss when they were printed!”

• The biggest reason is that it saves you guys money! Compared to other large photography corporations, I do not own a professional grade photo printer, therefore I would have to bulk print them in a similar way to how anyone else would (through a photo printing company like shutterfly, snapfish, etc.) and have to up-charge for the sheer amount of photos i’d have to print and sort through. All my photos are taken and sent in high resolution 300PPI PNG files, optimized to be printed in any size (2”x3” to 11”x14”).

“If my photos are digital and aren’t being printed why are they the same price as printed photos?”

• That is an extremely valid question! The cost of professional photos isn’t actually based on the physical print, rather it’s based on everything that goes into creating the final images. Each photo session includes planning and setup, professional camera equipment, lighting, and most importantly, the time spent carefully selecting and editing each image. Digital files give you the flexibility and licensing for personal use to print and share your photos however you choose.

“Will my dancer still take an individual Photo if I didn’t submit a form?

• No, families that do not submit an form will not take individual photos. Class Photos are still eligible to purchase at a later date.
