Registration & Enrollment

How & When to Register

  • Registration is completed online through our JackRabbit Portal and is required for all students attending classes at All 4 Dance Performing Arts Studio. You can find a link to your portal on our website.

  • Registration will open in the late Spring and continue throughout the season (September through May).

  • Dancers beginning after February are not eligible to participate in the spring recital. Tuition will be prorated to your dancer's start date.

  • Dancers will need to re-enroll each season if they plan to continue dancing with us. Current students will always have priority registration over new students.

  • All classes must have a minimum of 4 dancers enrolled by October 1st in order to continue. All 4 Dance reserves the right to cancel classes & will always offer alternate choices to each family.

Registration Fees & Pro-rating

  • There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee for your first dancer and an additional $10 for each additional dancer. This is due at the time of registration in order to secure your spot in class.

  • All 4 Dance Performing Arts Studio will only pro-rate the first month's tuition if registration is received after the first of the month.

  • There is no pro-rating for missing classes or withdrawing before the end of a month.

Attendance & Absences

  • If your child misses a week of class, it is up to you weather or not you would like to schedule a makeup class.

  • Note that after February 1st, each class will be practicing its own unique routine for the recital. Makeup classes are not recommended in April & May.

Withdrawing Enrollment

  • If your dancer decides mid-year not to continue with a class, please notify the office as soon as possible to avoid the following month’s tuition charges. All withdrawal notifications must be sent by email. If you are anticipating withdrawing your dancer, please do so before February 1st, so the teacher has time to reblock the performance routine before the recital.

Tuition Policies

  • Tuition is calculated by total hours per week, per family.

  • All recreational class tuition is capped at $300 per month, per family. There is no discount for paying in full.

  • Tuition Payments are due on the 1st of each month (September-May).

  • Our tuition breakdown is located our registration page

Additional Fees and Deposits

  • There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee for your first dancer and an additional $10 for each additional dancer. This is due at the time of registration in order to secure your spot in class.

  • We strongly encourage all families to enroll in automatic monthly payments.

  • There is a costume deposit of $50 per costume that is due November 1st. The remaining costume balance will be due February 1st or as costumes are delivered. Costume deposits are non-refundable.

  • If you wish to reserve a spot in a class & begin later in the year, there will be a monthly $15 fee in order to hold the spot.

Refunds

  • Refunds will not be given for scheduled studio closings and holidays. Tuition is calculated as a yearly cost, then broken down into 9 equal payments.

  • Refunds will not be issued for missed classes. You are welcome to schedule a makeup class through your JackRabbit parent portal.

  • Refunds will only be given if

    • a dancer sustains an injury preventing them from dancing (doctor's note may be required).

    • a dancer is not ready to participate in class after several attempts.

    • a class has been canceled due to insufficient registration.

Class Cancellations

  • All 4 Dance reserves the right to cancel class due to inclement weather, teacher/staff illness or injury, facility issues, and studio-wide events. We will send out an email and update our studio’s social media page. Check both outlets for the fastest and most accurate information.

  • The cancelled classes will not be rescheduled, but students are eligible to make up these classes in a different age-appropriate class before the season ends.

Studio, Lobby & Waiting Room Expectations

Parent Observation

  • Parents are not permitted to enter the studio at any time during class unless invited by the instructor.

  • We have seating and TVs in the lobby to view our classes.

  • This is a courtesy to your dancer and all other dancers in the studio. Their dance education is of utmost importance to us. We understand that adjusting to the first few classes may be difficult for some of our younger students. We permit parents to join students, as needed, for the first few classes until dancers warm up to their teachers, peers, and surroundings. Parents are not permitted in classrooms after their dancer has been in class for 3 weeks.

Lobby Expectations

  • Be considerate of other customers as well as our students while in the lobby or viewing areas of the studio. Just as you can hear some of the instructions coming from inside the studio, dancers and instructors inside the studio can hear loud noises from the lobby.

  • Siblings of students must be supervised at all times. There should be no running, yelling, or playing with merchandise in the lobby.

  • Due to limited space in our lobby, we ask that parents with dancers over the age of 8 be dropped off and picked up at the end of class. Car pooling can be a great way to reduce the amount of traffic we have in our lobby.

Class Etiquette

The only way to learn is to be present and respectful of yourself, your teacher, and your classmates. Here are some things to remember:

  • Be prepared! This means that students should be dressed appropriately to be able to safely participate in class. Jeans, dresses, and baggy clothes are not permitted in class. Dancers should arrive dressed in activewear, have the proper shoes for class, and have plenty of water.

  • Please use the bathroom before class begins. It is disruptive t the flow of class when students need bathroom breaks. Of course, we will allow them, but we try to keep them to a minimum. Please arrive early enough to take a trip to the bathroom before class begins.

  • Be on time! It is disruptive to the flow of class to have students arrive late to class. We know that life happens and that is okay, but please do not make a habit of arriving late to class.

All 4 Dance Code of Conduct

At All 4 Dance, our mission is to provide a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive and experience the joy of dance. We are committed to creating a community of empowerment, where every individual—teachers, staff, students, and parents—works together to maintain a safe, supportive, and uplifting atmosphere.

We believe that every student should feel valued, respected, and safe, both emotionally and physically, in all aspects of their dance experience. We have zero tolerance for bullying or any form of harassment, whether in the classroom, during rehearsals, performances, or in the studio or performance setting. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Cyberbullying: Spreading rumors, posting harmful or explicit images or messages, or using social media or other electronic platforms to degrade or harm others.

  • Verbal Bullying: Name-calling, offensive jokes, or hurtful remarks based on a person’s religion, race, gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background.

  • Disruption: Disrupting classes or rehearsals with inappropriate or disrespectful conversations or behaviors.

If any student feels uncomfortable, unwelcome, or experiences behavior that goes against the spirit of teamwork and respect, they should immediately speak to one of the instructors. Our staff is here to ensure every student feels supported and safe.

If a teacher observes any disrespectful behavior or "mean-spirited" actions, whether toward staff or fellow students, it will be addressed in a way deemed appropriate by our staff. This could include, but is not limited to, removal from class for the day, an email or meeting with parents, or in extreme cases, removal from our studio. We expect all students and their families to actively contribute to maintaining a positive, encouraging environment for everyone.

These expectations extend to our students' families as well. At All 4 Dance, we are all part of the same dance family. Our dancers' success is directly influenced by the support they receive from all areas of their lives—home, school, and the studio.

Dress Code

It is essential that all dancers follow our dress code guidelines to ensure their safety, minimize the risk of injury, and maximize the effectiveness of their training. Adhering to these standards helps create a focused, professional environment where students can thrive.

Required Dance Attire & Footwear:

  • All required attire and footwear for our classes are available for order on our online store. Please ensure your dancer is fully equipped with the appropriate clothing and shoes for each class.

Electronics Policy:

  • Apple Watches and other wearable devices are not permitted during class time. All devices must be stored in the dancer's bag or cubby during class. This ensures students stay focused and engaged during their lessons. Students who require devices for medical reasons are permitted.

Studio Etiquette:

  • Dance shoes should only be worn inside the studio. Please refrain from wearing them outside to keep them clean and in good condition.

  • Outside shoes should never be worn into the studios. This helps ensure that our floors stay clean and free of damage.

Personal Items:

  • Please label all of your dancers’ items, including dance shoes and water bottles, with their last name. This will help us keep track of belongings and prevent mix-ups.

Lost & Found

  • Lost and found items are kept in an accessible location in the studio.  Check this area regularly as items are cleaned out and donated seasonally.  We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items.

Student Evaluations & Level Placement

Our instructors may recommend that a student be moved to a different age or skill level based on their progress and abilities. If a student is placed in the wrong class, we will notify you via email, and All 4 Dance reserves the right to reassign or unenroll your dancer, moving them to the appropriate class based on age or skill level.

Students Under Age 7

  • Students aged 7 and under will be placed in classes according to their age as of October 1st. For example, a student who is 3 years old but turns 4 in December will be placed in the Pre-K Combo 3s class, rather than Pre-K Combo 4s. This ensures that all students are in classes suited to their developmental stage and helps provide the best learning experience for everyone.

Independence Expectations for Younger Dancers

  • If you are late bringing a younger student, teachers will not stop the class to assist with situating your dancer into their proper attire and walking them to their spot. Parents or guardians must do so with minimal disruptions to the class. Please put on your dancer’s shoes outside of the studio before entering.

  • Younger dancers sometimes may take more time to get situated in class. We often color 5 minutes before class begins, while students who are coming in are getting ready. If you know your dancer would like to color before class, please anticipate arriving 5 minutes early; once class starts, they will not have the opportunity to color.

  • Dancers (excluding “Dance With Me” students) must be fully potty trained and out of diapers/pull-ups. Dancers must know how to properly dress and undress themselves in the restrooms. Parents must accompany dancers who still need a little extra help in the restroom. If a parent is not available, an assistant teacher will walk your dancer to the bathroom and wait with them outside the stall. Teachers are not expected to provide any further help within the restroom aside from adjusting leotard sleeves.

Recital Information

  • All 4 Dance will host its 2025 annual dance recital at the South Orange Performing Arts Center the weekend of May 16 & 17th, 2026.

  • Each family will receive a digital information packet with all the details you need. Please read this packet thoroughly, as it will cover all recital-related topics.

  • Due to the busy nature of recital season, we ask that you refer to this information and do not request clarification on topics already addressed.

Performance Participation

All dancers enrolled in recreational classes, with the exception of Dance With Me,  will perform in our recital.

Opting Out / Performance Eligibility

  • If your dancer does not wish to participate in the recital, please notify the studio as soon as possible. We begin ordering costumes on November 1st, so when possible, let us know before this date.

  • Dancers who enroll after February 1st will not be eligible to perform in the spring recital, but they are still welcome to take class and learn the routine.

  • Recital dates and show assignments will be shared via email mid-season. If you know your dancer will be unable to attend the recital, please let us know as soon as possible.

Dress Rehearsal & Photos

  • Dress rehearsals and class photos will take place during your dancer’s regular class times in late April.

  • Dress Rehearsal Attendance is Mandatory for all dancers participating in the recital. Please plan accordingly and notify the studio if your dancer will be unable to attend.

Costumes

  • Costume fees for our annual recital vary by class and will be divided into two payments: one in November and the second in February. The first fee, due in November, is $50, and the second fee in February will vary depending on the class.

  • If we have not received your costume deposit by November, we will not order a costume for your dancer.

Sizing & Distribution

  • Students will be sized for costumes in October. All measurements will be adjusted to account for growth before the costumes are distributed.

  • Costumes will be sent home between February and April. We will wait until all students in a class have received their costumes before sending them home. Please note that costume fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Each costume will include tights and any required accessories. However, proper shoes for the performance must be purchased separately before the recital.
